About SFC Estate Coaching

Craig Mellendorf spent nearly three decades in the classroom helping students understand complex topics and guiding them through life’s early decisions. When the time came to explore a new direction, he carried that same educator’s mindset into a different mission: supporting families and giving them the tools and knowledge to prepare for the future with confidence. What began as one-on-one coaching soon evolved into SFC Estate Coaching, an estate planning business dedicated to simplifying estate planning, removing intimidation from the process, and supporting both loved ones and the causes people care about most.

Since launching SFC Estate Coaching in 2015, Craig has developed the nation’s first estate planning franchise rooted in education, not pressure. He works closely with each new franchise owner to share tools, training, and insight based on thousands of real client experiences. Craig’s goal is to make estate planning accessible for families across the country while giving values-driven entrepreneurs the chance to lead with empathy and build businesses grounded in service. He remains closely involved in expanding the brand’s reach and actively guides its impact in communities nationwide.
